The challenge
The business had evolved but the brand hadn't. What worked at launch felt misaligned with who they'd become — a serious, capable engineering firm with real depth. The challenge wasn't starting from scratch; it was understanding what Moloney & Sons actually stood for now, and building a brand identity around that truth rather than the old one.


The approach
We started with a half-day brand strategy workshop with the leadership team. That session surfaced what the business stood for, how it sat across its departments, and what it needed to communicate to clients and the market. From there we developed a refined brand identity — one that respected the heritage of the business while positioning them confidently for the next decade. The rollout covered the full suite: visual identity, collateral, signage, and digital.

The outcome
Moloney & Sons launched the refined brand at their 10-year anniversary. The timing was right — the milestone gave the rebrand real meaning, and the reception from clients, staff, and the broader industry was strong. A decade in, the brand finally matched the business.
